This site is in the process of being re-hosted. You can find the new
site at the following address :
http://www.morrowind-oblivion.com/sitemap.php
This is a new hosting, with a domain that is more fitting for the content.
The extra capacity, together with the added bonus of .php, will allow the
site to grow more quickly and provide users with extra capabilities such
as forums and blogging. The intention here is to provide a community for
fans of Morrowind and Oblivion, where members can discuss the games and
get help and assistance in the areas of the Construction Set. A place
where members can comment on the articles created on-site, or start their
own blogs for the rest of the world to see.
Take a trip over there and see what's on offer. The content is pretty
much the same as you'll find here, at the moment, although that is
likely to change over the coming weeks as the site is migrated. Still,
there's the forum
and the blog that
you can get started on.
Hope you enjoy it. Dave.

The Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion
The Elder Scrolls IV, Oblivion, has been the most anticipated game this
century for die-hard RPG fans. Oblivion is the follow-up to the hugely
successful Game of the Year 2002 - Morrowind, the Elder Scrolls III.
Morrowind had, and still has, an enormous fan-base. When it was introduced
to an eager audience back then it immediately became a smash hit with fans
of the Elder Scrolls franchise. It's state of the art 3D graphics and
enormous free-form world, which allowed for unparalleled, non-linear
exploration and questing, was an instant hit that provided just the right
blend of exploration, questing, fighting and character interaction.
It also became a huge success with the modding community due to it's
pre-bundled TES Construction Set which included a map editor and a script editor.
Oblivion was released on the 20th March, 2006 to rapturous applause
from fans and games magazine reviewers. As yet, I am unable to offer an
opinion on the game, since I have yet to play it in depth. Presently, I
have only scratched the surface, but I will say that it plays better
than I expected on my relatively low-specced machine - Athlon XP2800,
1.5 Gb RAM and a 6600GT.

Author's Mod : The Five Keys of Azura.
The Five Keys of Azura is the author's project, currently 16 months in production,
and is an expansion mod for The Elder Scrolls Morrowind. The Five Keys
of Azura takes you on a journey through Morrowind and beyond in
the search for clues. These clues could help establish whether the
rumours are true, that centuries ago, the Lord Azura attempted to
put a dark secret beyond the ken of mortal man.
This mod is approximately 96% finished ( 26th June ), and I now hope to have it
released during the late summer of 2006. The mod
will be aimed at high level characters, typically those that have
completed both Morrowind and Tribunal with levels above 30. It features
250+ new cells, 400+ new NPC's, a new faction, a compelling storyline, a main
quest, over 50 new sub-quests, over 1400 lines of new dialog covering
in excess of 160 new topics, and 80+ scripts. This is a large expansion mod with
approximately 50 to 60 hours of gameplay.
The Five Keys of Azura Mod requires the full version of Morrowind and
the Tribunal expansion, it does not require the Bloodmoon expansion. The
Five Keys will naturally follow on after completing Morrowind or Tribunal.
Just make sure you visit Lord Vivec in order to receive a briefing on
the rumours that have been going around since the incident at Red Mountain.

New content : Oblivion Interactive Map.
This is the fabulous interactive Cyrodiil map from the guys in Poland.
If you've seen the Morrowind Interactive map already then you'll know
what to expect. This map for Oblivion has obviously taken a lot of time
and effort to put together, so I suggest an email of thanks to the guys that
made it.
Thanks to Jotes and the guys

New content : Oblivion Tutorials.
I have now added two Oblivion Tutorials to the Oblivion Tools Page.
The first is on how to create a simple quest in the Construction Set. The
second is more advanced, and describes in detail how to setup and control
the automatic generation of scenery within the Construction Set. Remember
how lush and beautiful the trees, bushes, flowers and grasses are? Well,
that's what it's all about - programming the construction set to create
those objects automatically for your new landscapes. It really is a
massive time-saver for the serious modder. Check it out.

and away you go.

for what's available.

New content : Reviewed Morrowind Mods listed by Content.
I have recently been playing and reviewing Morrowind Mods, plugins and
expansions. I will continue to do so until Oblivion is finally released. I thought it might
be a good idea to categorize them by content, so that those of you that
are looking for a mod that contains specific content, e.g. armor, will
get a better idea of which mod to go for. So, here is the list as it stands
at :
